Is this a joke? This is the old 12gb version, not the 16gb version! You can buy new 12gb ti cards for less than $600!

Are you referring to the 4070 Super, so no Ti, and less powerful card? Is this a joke?

Show me a link for an Nvidia GPU with 16gb that matches or exceeds the performance of this 4070ti, is new and available, for $600 or lower.

Thanks for the deal, OP. This is a great card for SFF builds due to its relatively smaller size (300x120x50mm)

For when you need an Nvidia RTX card that LOOKS like an XFX Radeon card.

Hey, Is it really not a deal? all the Asus Tuf 4070 TI OC 12GB and the 4070 TI super OC are 850$ I don't remember this card was low as 700$

the 4070 Super OC is 650$ (not TI)

saw deals for ZOTAC Gaming GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Trinity OC for 550$ (open box) not sure if it was the only thing.
please explain why it's not a deal
is it because the upcoming of the 50 Serie?

I'm guessing because:
  1. The RX 7900 XT, at the same price, provides better performance per dollar and has 67% (20GB vs 12GB) more VRAM. (https://www.techspot.com/review/2...-ti-super/)
  2. The RTX 4070 Super performs almost the same while being 19% cheaper (currently $570 vs $700). (https://pcpartpicker.com/products...65,549,547)

ASUS? Prepare to pay 1400 when you need RMA. lol.

You better read the recent ASUS RMA drama before committing to the purchase.

I believe this is a good deal and bought. I've been unhappy with Nvidia's pricing and have been stubbornly holding onto my trusty GTX1080.

In terms of comparing to the 7900XT, the typical considerations are raster performance per dollar, vram, ray tracing, frame gen, adaptive sync technology, and driver SW. Based on your preference in each those metrics, you can make your own decision.

In terms of comparing within Nvidia offerings, a lot will come down to what you're willing to spend. I've been waiting for a deal in the $700-800 range and this falls nicely into it. In terms of FPS, the 4070 Ti still outperforms the 4070 Super by 7~13%, with many of the test results clustering around 10%.

Price per FPS will typically get worse as you go up the model chain. For example, the 4060 will have a significantly better price per FPS compared to the 4090. So it follows that the 4070 Super will have a better price per dollar than the 4070 Ti, as mihscr mentioned.

Gamers Nexus has a $/FPS chart within their 4080 Super review, which shows the 4070 Ti having 82% of the baseline 4060 $/FPS, while the 4070 Super has 89% (according to January prices). Higher % is better value. OP's deal is 17% off of the price, pushing the 4070 Ti from 82% to 99% $/FPS (0.82/(1-0.17). Unless you can find a deal on a 4070 Super that pushes its $/FPS higher than 99%, this is going to be a better deal.

No kidding, but unfortunately it seems no PC Parts manufacture really offers a decent customer service experience. It's basically all terrible now.

This is the 12gb version that has been discontinued, so the old MSRP doesn't apply, price is what the market will bear. It is less than 10% faster than the new 4070 super, so that should be its full price.

The 16gb version is available on Dell for $750 before Amex and other cashback rebates that can be found online. I paid $610 for that version - that is a Slickdeal!
