This is a high quality thermal paste used in electronics like computers and laptops. It has good thermal conductivity, doesn't dry out quickly, and it does not conduct electricity. That last point makes it very easy to work with and very forgiving. This is a great option for beginners and professionals.
For those unfamiliar with this product, it is used mainly between CPUs/GPUs and cooling systems like heat sinks, heat pumps, or water cooling blocks. Removing heat properly prevents the system from reducing its performance to avoid overheating.

Here is a performance comparison of multiple thermal pastes:

The Artic MX-5 performed well. The MX-4 wasn't tested. I believe Artic released MX-6 that's supposed to be 20% better performance than MX-4.
MX-6 4g is $6.55 on Amazon.

I have no clue regarding the best. But looking at the comparisons Artic MX series is a top performer.

From what I hear, MX-6 is slightly thicker which makes it slightly harder to apply. If MX-6 does not conduct electricity and you don't care about the aesthetics, the difficulty of application becomes a non-issue. Lol
Real world performance is about the same in terms of keeping temps down. I'm not sure on the longevity of MX-6, but I doubt it would be worse than MX-4. I have no data to back that up, though. I just doubt they would reduce it by much if any since that was a strong point in favor of the MX-4 vs Grizzly Kryonaut. MX-4 has been around for a while, and many have reported that the paste hasn't died out even after years of use.
