Ordered!!!!

Absolutely spectacular deal for the G4. I had no idea I had partner store access, but the wife is a teacher with a verified ID.me account and that was all it took. $3087 shipped with VA tax for 77" G4.

GT had been down as low as $2850ish for the 77" G3, and I had been hoping to get costco in the $3000 range plus tax. But this is unheard of for the G4 which wasn't even on my radar. I'm sure its not a $1000 upgrade over the G3, but a G4 at this premium over bottom dollar G3 prices can't be beat.

HUGE THANKS to the OP!

This is a great deal. Once again people downvoting because they don't have access to partner store.

2897 for G4 77 with wall mount is hilariously good given the best deal for G3 77 was 2842 from greentoe without wall mount.

Well CRAP... I got a friend to use her student id (medical school) to create an id.me account. I logged in to id.me, found the LG option, clicked it, brought me to LG website where it wanted to create a new or link an existing LG account. I accidentally clicked the log in button with my personal LG account autofilled, so that's what is connected to id.me. I ain't getting any discounts now. Does the LG account email have to match the id.me account email to get the discounts?

Edit. I don't know if an email is supposed to be linked or not. Is one? Whatever is going on, I'm getting $6299.99 for the 83" G4. Ugh.

Great price as it's just a little more than the price I paid for my G3 AND this includes free mounting! G4 is better in almost every way than the G3 except for over the air tuner. Here's a fair review: https://www.zdnet.com/home-and-office/home-entertainment/lg-g4-vs-g3-which-flagship-oled-tv-should-y... [zdnet.com]
How does the free mounting work? My understanding is that the G3/G4 can be difficult to mount since it has fixed mount points and you need to check that the studs are in the right place for it?

Seems like an excellent deal *for the time*. I would expect this TV to be about this price on BF as well, and next year (before the G5 comes out) as well, but getting it now—with the extra 4% (or $125) off via Amex offers, and free wall mount install—makes this slick IMO.

I was in the market for a new TV, and really did not want another Samsung (had one TV die exactly 2.5 years in, $400-600 to fix it, scrapped it instead; had an expensive soundbar die 2.5 years in, also scrapped vs. paying to repair for $400-600; old Samsung Frame from 2020 was completely useless in moderately bright room), but resigned myself to picking up one of the S89/S90 deals if no good deals on the G3/C3 came back around.

To get the G4 for basically the same price as the G3 right now made this a no-brainer for me. I love my C1 and believe I'll be happy with the G4 until it dies, which *hopefully* is a lot longer than my last TV that died.

Speaking of that, does anyone have any experience with third-party TV insurance that they'd recommend? I bought Upsie for our C1, but haven't had to use it yet, so can't speak to how good/shady they are.

Thanks in advance.

I placed an order for the 77" G4 in early May. It still has never shipped.

Saw that the Memorial Day 10% discount stacked with the partner store discount so I ordered -again- today.

Before doing so, I called twice to try and get LG to retroactively apply the 10% discount to my -first- order from early May. Neither of them would.

Should I cancel the first order, before it ships?

Or wait to hear back from the partner store team via email about this scenario, before canceling? When you -call- customer service, it's not the partner store you're talking to; I'm told they -only- communicate via email, hence my question here.

When I first searched for LG it returned nothing. I had to "view all offers" to show all 100+ in the list, then searched for LG and it came right up.

But if you don't see it, you don't have it—I don't think there's anything you can do.

C3 vs G4, $1800 vs $2900, is G4 worth the $1100 difference? $1200 diff after Tex.

Anyone know how far from the wall the 83 is when mounted? If I got this it would partially go over a light switch so curious if it's viable

MEMORIALDAY is no longer working, I hope they will honor the order already place by now and not cancel them.

The C3 is by all accounts an excellent TV. Each person must decide for themselves if the price difference justifies the benefit. To help you: https://www.rtings.com/tv/tools/c...shold=0.10

That said, the reason I got the G4 over the C3 is the slim mount and closeness to the wall when mounted ("hangs like a picture"), the art gallery mode, the brightness (mine will be in a very bright room), and the modern gaming features so I don't have to worry about the TV being out of date any time soon. But really it's the brightness; my last TV was impossible to watch in the daytime in that room, and I sold it a few years after I bought it at a $1000 loss. So I'd rather pay an extra $1200 now for a TV I can enjoy in that room.

If you don't care about the slightly brighter picture, the mount/gallery modes, or having the MOST cutting edge gaming features, I'd say go with the C3 for sure.

Is it worth getting the G4 for $3087 shipped? Or should I save almost $600 and go with the c4 for $2485? I can't decide. The TV is going in my basement mostly for gaming and watching sports. Tv shows / movies once in a while.
