Absolutely spectacular deal for the G4. I had no idea I had partner store access, but the wife is a teacher with a verified ID.me account and that was all it took. $3087 shipped with VA tax for 77" G4.
GT had been down as low as $2850ish for the 77" G3, and I had been hoping to get costco in the $3000 range plus tax. But this is unheard of for the G4 which wasn't even on my radar. I'm sure its not a $1000 upgrade over the G3, but a G4 at this premium over bottom dollar G3 prices can't be beat.
HUGE THANKS to the OP!
2897 for G4 77 with wall mount is hilariously good given the best deal for G3 77 was 2842 from greentoe without wall mount.

Edit. I don't know if an email is supposed to be linked or not. Is one? Whatever is going on, I'm getting $6299.99 for the 83" G4. Ugh.
I was in the market for a new TV, and really did not want another Samsung (had one TV die exactly 2.5 years in, $400-600 to fix it, scrapped it instead; had an expensive soundbar die 2.5 years in, also scrapped vs. paying to repair for $400-600; old Samsung Frame from 2020 was completely useless in moderately bright room), but resigned myself to picking up one of the S89/S90 deals if no good deals on the G3/C3 came back around.
To get the G4 for basically the same price as the G3 right now made this a no-brainer for me. I love my C1 and believe I'll be happy with the G4 until it dies, which *hopefully* is a lot longer than my last TV that died.
Speaking of that, does anyone have any experience with third-party TV insurance that they'd recommend? I bought Upsie for our C1, but haven't had to use it yet, so can't speak to how good/shady they are.
Thanks in advance.
Saw that the Memorial Day 10% discount stacked with the partner store discount so I ordered -again- today.
Before doing so, I called twice to try and get LG to retroactively apply the 10% discount to my -first- order from early May. Neither of them would.
Should I cancel the first order, before it ships?
Or wait to hear back from the partner store team via email about this scenario, before canceling? When you -call- customer service, it's not the partner store you're talking to; I'm told they -only- communicate via email, hence my question here.

But if you don't see it, you don't have it—I don't think there's anything you can do.
That said, the reason I got the G4 over the C3 is the slim mount and closeness to the wall when mounted ("hangs like a picture"), the art gallery mode, the brightness (mine will be in a very bright room), and the modern gaming features so I don't have to worry about the TV being out of date any time soon. But really it's the brightness; my last TV was impossible to watch in the daytime in that room, and I sold it a few years after I bought it at a $1000 loss. So I'd rather pay an extra $1200 now for a TV I can enjoy in that room.
If you don't care about the slightly brighter picture, the mount/gallery modes, or having the MOST cutting edge gaming features, I'd say go with the C3 for sure.
