I stacked coupon code (PROSKILLS-15) for and additional 15% off
Gone are the days when this thing would go on sale for 35 bucks
I've researched yrs ago and found out that the balls are made from 2 different factories. There's a 3 letter code on each ball. I believe the code that starts with an X is the harder/slippery one. The one that starts with a N is the softer version. Just what I learned 5yrs ago so things could have changed.

In my opinion, best colorway because you never see this ball anywhere, especially at tournaments. Helps to quickly identify your ball.

I've played with a few different evolutions. That all seem to look like legit Wilson evolutions. But the ones at my gym are squishy and have good grip/feel for shooting.

The two balls my friends bring to gym also say evolution but don't have the squishy-springyness to it. It's still a good ball but feels a bit slippery.

Are there different versions? Are they knockoffs?

I assume buying directly from Wilson would be legit but has the model changed?

I've tried multiple browsers and credit cards and it wouldn't allow me to complete the purchase. Doesn't say exactly what the issue was but I see a pink ribbon below the payment options section as if something is missing but I don't see anything wrong.

Not exactly sure when, but I am pretty sure they made a slight change to the surface of the Evolution in the last few years. It now seems to pick up dust more than it used to and if you don't keep it clean, it will have that slippery feel you're describing. Someone said they cleaned it with a scrubber and now the dust doesn't stick to it as much, but YMMV. Still the best ball out there and this is a good price.

Second this.
Lost 3 in 2 years. Some players should have some dignity.

I want address some concerns. I have this same ball. I barely see it anywhere when I play ball easy to distinguish. 2nd someone mentioned that they changed the quality of the evolutions balls. I've bought about 6 of these from loosing or getting stolen. But my theory is that Walmart evolutions are of poorer quality. When buying at Dick's sporting goods they are a better quality ball. Just my thoughts from purchasing from different retailers

This is a good ball but Baden Elite is a little better. Just to address everyone saying this is the best ball. It's close. But it's not.

What would be a good ball to play out on a concrete driveway? Would they hold up?

Baden Elite and the Wilson Evolution are both indoor balls. They won't hold up outdoors. Adidas is currently having a sale and I just looked and they have an all surface ball called the "all court ball" and it's on sale for 18 bucks right now. I haven't tried it but it's a good price and looks really good and it's made for indoor and outdoor play.

That adidas all court 3.0 runs a tad small and a tad lighter. it did not feel right comparative to a wilson evolution. i measured and weighed it to make sure i wasnt just pysching myself

Thanks for the fast response. I'll check the ball out.
