I bought this the last time it popped up. I had an upcoming car project and never had a magnetic bowl. The magnetic bowl part is pretty small (2" x 3" at the bottom). But it was nice to be myself and just plop the tools right in front of me without having them fall into the abyss, and not having to hunt where I misplaced them, while not scrathing anything either.

The magnetic tray is removable if you so desire... It's held in place well, but to remove, just fold the silicone a bit & the edge/corner of the metal tray will be exposed allowing one to then remove it... Discovered accidentally :-)

Grabbed this on the last deal as well. Quality is good and just the size I needed for a better price than the 3 piece bundles on Amazon. Didn't need the extra large one that came with the Amazon bundles.

I think the Menards 3 piece set (https://www.menards.com/main/tool...exp=false) is the best value for this type of tray but the magnet in this set seems like a useful idea as well. These are roughly the size of the two smaller trays in the Menards set. Ironically HF is dead last as they charge almost this much per piece for the three sizes they sell.
