CRI stands for Color Rendering Index, which is a measure of how well a light source renders colors in a space. It's a number between 0 and 100, with higher numbers indicating more accurate color rendering:
0: All colors look the same
100: Shows the true colors of the object
80–90: Good
90+: Excellent

High CRI LED lighting renders beautiful, vibrant tones across the full-color spectrum. However, CRI is only one measurement for light quality.

color rendering index. these are a basic 80 cri. anything over 90 is really good. these are adequate.

I got some from this brand the last time it showed up on SD. It is indeed very bright for the form factor, but the CRI is pathetic. I personally wouldn't recommend these.

If you don't midn the CRI, these are a good deal

I think most of the LED bulbs are 80 CRI, which is sufficient.

I would argue that CRI is a very important measure. I have some candelabra bulbs with a lower CRI and everything looks very dull when we turn it on. I also got some better candelbra bulbs of the same size and things look much better in another room. We never turn on the bad ones for that reason.

If the cri on these is only 80, then this is an easy pass, 90+ or nothing at all. Especially for indoor use, 80 cri is just garbage

Can anyone explain what the following means?
Do we get a 22.5 years warranty where we can replace the bulbs before that (if the company still exists) or will they replace only for 5 years./

"GUARANTEES: etl listed, quality and safety verified, 22.5 years led bulb lifespan, 5 years warranty."

What's CRI good for? Taking pictures? Make your room look nice? What?

One example is in the kitchen. Low cri will make it difficult to tell if your steak is cooked the way you want because it dulls the color. SA ame for other foods.

In the dining room, it will help make your food look more appetizing instead of dull.

In the bathroom, if you put on make up, you want accurate colors representing what you put on so you don't end up looking like a clown in better lighting.

If you collect art and have paintings or pictures, you want them to look good l l, but with low cri, paintings will be dull and pictures lifeless.

edit: this was something I read in the r/lighting on Reddit before. I am not a light expert, but those guys go real deep into it. Another example would be the color cyan. The light waves reflect colors. on a low cri bulb, the corresponding light waves might not have enough range to reflect it correctly, so it would look black or not a true cyan. a high CRI bulb would have a better range to reflect the color more accurately.

Sorry to all the light experts if I butchered this explanation, but I tried to explain it the way I could understand when I first read about it.
