Get the following two Ubiquiti devices for $80 less, and this setup will destroy the OP's WIFI router.

A lot of routers are pretty ugly and people tend to hide them at the expense of cooling. I guess this is their way of making it more functional/aesthetically pleasing

This really seems like a great deal if you can run the cabling, I've been looking to upgrade my wifi 5 system for a while, this might be the ticket.

Really wish this had 8 LAN ports like my AX6000. My TP-Link AX6000 has been an amazing router and I never have to restart it, unlike the Linksys & Asus routers I have had in the past. The GUI is a little dated but it is rock solid. I am definitely getting a TP-Link for my next router.

This is a nice setup, but once again Ubiquiti handicaps their own equipment by putting no a 2.5gb WAN port and only 1gb LAN ports. So if your internet is any faster than about 860mbps (accounting for overhead) then you don't want to use this.

I like their stuff, but they just don't make sense sometimes. I had to put away my whole setup on an edge router and AP when wifi 6 came out because they were like a year behind in putting out a wifi 6 AP. I haven't been able to go back because I now have 1.3gb internet and there is no suitable gateway.

As far as the router in the post, the BE19000, there have been good reviews but most reviews note the antennas are fixed inside the box so there is no adjusting them. Could lead to some dead spots if you are trying to cover a certain area.

Another downside of the BE19000 is the 2.5gb ports are all LAN, and cannot be used as a WAN port. That means the 10gb port must be used as the WAN, leaving you with only 1x 10GB LAN port. So if you had hopes of using more than one 10gb LAN connection, you'll still need a $200-$500 switch.

You're not buying this because of WiFi 7. You're buying it to get 10GbE with wifi all in a single device.

it's not for everyone, but I could see the utility. I keep my router on a shelf right over my computer monitor. if I had this, I could simply look up and see the weather. I think that'd be cool. What I would like way better on that display, however, is a display of current bandwidth in and out of the wan so I could get at-a-glance network status info, but I guess more people find weather more useful? idk.

I'm not quite on board with wifi 7's current expense (and i'm sure it'll get better), but the deal breaker for me is how few wifi 7 clients there are currently (and i'm sure that'll get better within the next year as well). tl;dr: is wifi 7 epic: absolutely! am I going to buy wifi7 gear right now? no, it's overpriced and there aren't many clients. - I'm gonna give it another year.
