tip for homebuyers: take the GFCI tester with you when you are shopping for a home, and test a few outlets, especially outdoors, to see if any shortcuts were taken. Prepare to be terrified
The circuit breaker finder is quite useful if you understand one blindspot: if you have a circuit with a UPS backup battery plugged into it, unplug that UPS before looking for its respective breaker. I found this out through a super obscure forum post after trying for a half hour to find the circuit for the bedroom.
Sadly, by the time I figured this issue out, I already found the circuit by process of elimination
