I have a pair of their aviators with metal frame. Never wore too much because it was a bit tight on me. Coating on the lenses started peeling/flaking around some edges. Even with it being stored most of its life.

Oakleys are not a cheap product. We got real oakleys on a deal and your already planning on returning ? You don't like the merchant so what ? You got a deal , you should be happy! Sunglasses are some of the trickiest things to buy over the internet because fit is often the problem. Typically the frame width and arm length have to fit the head, and the bridge width and nose height have to fit too. And not everybody wears the sunglasses at the same distance away from their eyes. So be mindful. The benefit of big name brands is they can often be found at retail store to try on first to see if it even fits right.

I feel the same way with shoes and clothing . There's no standard size in a fitment measurement anymore. I wear a 11 shoe but sometimes I need 11-1/2 , tee shirts xl depending on the brand and make I may need a xxl . 34 pants really vary with maker there not always a 34. Name brand glasses however I would think have a higher standard . Theres the dimensions of the frame and lens in the ads , I would imagine once you figure out your size you should be ok to order online. No name Walmart glasses may vary I would think

I feel guilty admitting that I have bought from AliExpress. Anyway I bought a polyester shorts in XL based on description of product page sizing. And the waist was too tight even with elastic band. So I ordered the next size up XXL. And I received the exact same size just with the XXL label. I share this so you don't have to.
