Also, if you get prompted to sign-up for the newsletters to save $15 just know that it won't work. They already have a coupon on this bringing it down to $450. If you add the newsletter coupon it just replaces the other coupon.

Spent quite a bit of time looking for ANY reviews of this monitor and nothing. At $450 it may just be worth the plunge. At least $200 cheaper than a G9.

tbf it advertises "5K". 5K, 4K, 2K are dumb marketing terms that don't even make any consistent sense in the first place. 4K is because it's at least 4000 pixels wide (IF you use the 19:10 aspect ratio as opposed to 16:9). But by that logic 1080p should be 2K. But people call 1440p 2K for no reason. 1080p is at least 2000 pixels wide with the same 16:10 but nooooo, it doesn't count. And also 1080p is literally half the horizontal resolution as 4K so why isn't it 2K? So technically they are right that it's 5K if you just base it off of how 4K became called 4K.
But on the actual monitor, I would recommend people to just buy a monitor from a reputable brand instead. Monitor's are wrought with HUGE differences in quality despite having the exact same specs of resolution, hdr, refresh rate, g2g, color accuracy, etc. and very importantly since you can't expect to see the impact until after the 90 day warranty, lifespan. And in my eyes when I decided to buy the Samsung G9 is I'm not going to replace it for a loooooong time (running on 3 years rn, still no desire to upgrade since I have no panel issues).
edit: lol i don't get it. Are the people replying to me not getting my logic on the inconsistency in the logic of the 2k and 4k...? 4K is 4K because 19:10 is 4096 pixels. By that same logic, 1080p, 19:10 is 2048 and hence 2K. But lets not call 1080p that but the higher resolution, 1440p, 2K, and the new resolution 4K because that's wowee that sounds like such a big technological jump, it sounds impressive by a marketing perspective!!!!!! I spelled it out to you guys...
