Think of a world in which all nutritional needs could be met with space food pills: "Who in their right mind would pay extra money to go to a nice restaurant!?"
People still do because the nice restaurant food has aesthetic value. It is pleasurable and delights the senses. It has symbolic value (think of going out on a special occasion, or gifting yourself a watch on a special occasion, or giving your son a graduation present, etc.). Is it so crazy to spend $700 to give to your best man? Or to give your husband on an anniversary? Or to commemorate a job promotion?
For that matter, who in their right mind would spend money to go skiing, which is an entirely non-necessary activity? I dunno, maybe because they enjoy skiing, same as someone might enjoy watches for their historical relevance, for their craft, for the way the old-fashioned movement of springs and gears (and not batteries) can capture the imagination in a way that a battery powered digital device might not do in this day and age, for their artistry?
People go to NFL games when they can watch them on TV. I don't do it . . . but I can see why people would shell out that kind of money.
Who in their right mind would spend $2,000 a bicycle? I would never do it (I'm not into cycling). . . but I'm pretty sure I can figure out who in their right mind would. Is it really that difficult to think why it could make sense to do?
If you asked an honest question, then that's my initial attempt at an honest answer. It's also an attempt at demonstrating why other people have given "You're kind of being a troll here, dude" answers. Anyway, I'll leave it at that.
Seriously? I have watches that only "tells time" (well, date as well) that cost a nice chunk more than $700 including a Zenith I bought through SD a while back. It's okay if it's not for you, but there is no reason to insinuate people are crazy for spending more money than you would on a watch.
I have a Samsung Smartwatch as well for when I want to go that route.
I like the black dial and wish I could afford it right now. Most of the watch deals that show up here are for larger watches. Keep the 40mm and below deals coming Here's a quick unboxing of the leather strap version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wSXMvTdxTns

Well that always true no matter what, I was just curious as to why. Nothing wrong with it.
