Just keep in mind it's a barebone. You need to add the RAM, SSD, OS, and dedicated GPU if you want to have good gaming performance.
Wow. Impressive amount of tech jammed in a small package. It even has a built in webcam and microphone. Wifi 7, bluetooth 5.4, dual 5g ethernet ports. Oculink for external graphics cards. Face id and finger print reader.
They probably would spray-paint it white and charge you twice as much for it; then you can pretend.

And the Combo deal for OCulink eGPU dock for just $50 extra is also pretty sweet. Also, the unique Touchscreen display showing all statistics, Connections, CPU and GPU Load, fan speed etc. You can also choose Performance modes from that, as per the reviews. hek the below review from techtablets who has covered a lot of aspects in his in-depth review.

Is this little built-in display connected to an HDMI/DP/LVDS whatever internally like a regular display? Or does it require special drivers or run its own firmware?

It needs certain software to function. It is cconnected as a 2nd Display but needs software to function as it is not capable of showing everything o a normal display. This is more or less similar to Asus' implementation of a 2nd display in the Touchpad couple of years back where it can show some specific infformation and integration with some special software for shortcuts.
As per the reviews I have seen, the sotware ffor the display is included in their Driver package download, if you buy a barebone.

The dock doesn't come with a PSU.

They definitely weren't holding any punches when designing this. Wish they would specify if the USB C ports support power delivery. One of the pictures shows it getting power from the back USB C port while the front one is supplying power to the portable monitor so most likely yes.

I don't think it supports Power Delivery In for any of the USB-C Ports, at least all the reviews I have seen, never mentioned that. For Powering external Monitor, they need pretty small amount of power, around 10-15W and the USB-4 ports can output that.
