Take on the role of a modern farmer and creatively build your farm in three diverse American and European environments. Farming Simulator 22 offers a huge variety of farming operations focusing on agriculture, animal husbandry and forestry - now with the exciting addition of seasonal cycles!
Can someone actually learn something useful about farming from this game? Or any sim games in general?
I learned that I can't run a city. I can't fly a plane let alone a combat plane. I learned I can't be CEO of an amusement park, a transport company or a prison. I learned I'm pretty good at car-jacking and running a drug empire but can f#ck up a virtual life just as fast I can a real one. So yo answer your question Yes in general you can learn something.
Sounds like a good old family maga vacation in a mobile home
Progs do have the market cornered in exciting video games, I'll admit. You don't even need to buy GTA anymore now that carjacking in DC is practically legal.
I like flight simulator the most, in few hours I become a full fledged pilot, now just have to find a real plane to practice my skills😏
Funny enough I teach people to fly and it is really an extremely useful (and relatively cheap) tool to visualize some of the concepts taught on a whiteboard.
I've played far more of the Farming Simulator games than I'd like to admit. I don't even know what the appeal is really...it's just a super casual time suck of a game. It's tedious and boring, but sometimes that's not all bad.
If you play it like it's designed to, it's friggin' HARD. Making money is very difficult and it'll be a total grind to do everything the "right way." What I always end up doing is putting the government subsidy mod[farming-simulator.com] on, then money is no longer a concern. Buy all the best equipment, sell crops for zero profit, buy stupidly oversized tractors and trick them out, etc.
Will it teach me how to be subsidized for not growing anything irl
?
