Glad to have one of these even having paid $147 after tax/shipping back in December, and this is quite a bit better deal @ more like ~$125-130 shipped. Great device to have handy, whether it be for the back yard, camping, or helping power devices through a power outage.

I did some pretty thorough testing on mine to put it through its paces. USB-C PD output starts/maxes around 60W with a fresh battery - but it settles in around 45W once you're down below 60% or so - hence the rating.

These are also nice to have for getting a good idea of how your older batteries are holding up. I recorded total power output (watt hours) to a 14" macbook pro with a USB-C meter, and I was pretty surprised that all my M18 batteries delivered >=85% of their rated capacity - even my 6+ year old 9.0 high demand battery.

Technically? Sure, I guess.. as long as you keep the total power draw at or under its rated 175W.. but it goes without saying it is super wasteful to charge other batteries like that, because you're converting DC to AC, then AC back to DC - and both of those steps are lossy.

I use this combo in a garden shed that has no electrical source. Powers a 4-foot LED shop light (30 watts) which illuminates the whole space well for a couple hours at a time. Of course, I have several backup batteries for use as needed. Also nice for charging cellphones or other USB devices.

Can I hook up an extension cord and power multiple devices and charge other M18 batteries?

Can hack the tool only for $60 at HD.....

It doesn't charge the battery via USB like the Ryobi inverter does, lame.

The Home Depot app shows this at $99 but without the battery. Unless you're referring to an in-store deal you found.

Do they also make a USB power module? That would be appreciably more efficient than using this module to invert and then a USB power supply to convert.

The 6.0 HO is a fantastic battery. That makes this a great deal.
