Yeah, noticed that in some reviews. The description on the listing though says "Made in United States of America" so possibly YMMV? If buying, I'd assume it is an ME/Asia copy.

Well for what it's worth if you look on the back cover of any US version Nintendo Switch game it says made in Japan. They do their manufacturing in Japan and/or Asia so if you ask me that blurb is misleading and means nothing. I agree that it makes sense to assume that at this price it's most likely an imported version of the game.

Nintendo will likely start their Nintendo Selects/Club Nintendo/Players Choice program soonish. Since about N64, this has been a practice towards the end of a console's life where they repackage popular games (mostly 1st party) and sell them at a big discount, usually about $20. Personally, I am waiting until closer to EOL to pick up some recent 1st party releases and ports I already own via different devices (SNES Classic/Mini, OG GameCube, WiiU, etc). I don't know if they will include ports, but figure it is worth waiting if I am saving significant amounts on a game I already own.

Just a thought.

I'm not saying it's a bad idea, but people have been predicting the EoL for the Switch since 2020. They just announced that they would have an announcement for the next console in 2025, so who knows when it will actually come out.

I think we're likely to get a Switch 2 presentation this year and release date in March of next year.

Ultimately it really shouldn't matter unless you're trading into GameStop or something (I hear they don't take non-US versions) but I'd still be disappointed if the picture showed the ESRB logo -- meaning US -- and it came as a different region.

UAE copies are still ESRB/NA, the main indicator is it has a small triangle in the back and sometimes a small square in the back stating its the UAE version. Still has the ESRB info so it can be a bit confusing if you don't know what to look out for.
