Many comments I've read say the 45% NTSC display leaves much to be desired, especially regarding low color accuracy and a "washed out" look. I would be interested in anyone's thoughts about that.

Unless you plan to be doing any kind of color grading work it's really not bad at all, just above average. It's no VA/TN levels for sure, perfectly fine for normal everyday/office use (yes even movies/shows don't look bad at all)

Huh?

What's wrong with VA? It's superior to IPS is many ways and definitely superior to 45% NTSC IPS.

I recently got the ThinkPad E16 Gen 2. Display looks crappy next to my MacBook Pro but for my use case (Excel, other office stuff, accounting software not available for Mac) that doesn't matter at all. YouTube and other videos are good enough, too.

At that price point you have to make compromises somewhere and for me going with the not so great display was probably the right choice. If you're planning on editing photos or videos you should probably get a different display though.

Meh. Pay twice as much and get 8x the machine with the minisforum v3. It's about 1099 right now and has killer specs.
