Good time to buy some of their more unique products and accessories that rarely go on sale. Seems like the majority of their items are eligible for 30% off if I'm reading correctly.

I used to love their products but at this point, there is no reason to justify paying 2x or 3x more than anybody else for the same products.

I thought that and then my cheaper feit bulbs lost their config for the third time in as many months and my wife was threatening to put analogue dimmers in again. I'm all in on hue now.

Yep me too.. I have tried several different brands, all of them eventually loose their connection and start flashing, then I have to reprogram them… I have never had a Philips do that! Also setting up the off brands is a pain with Apple system, Philips just works.

Used to push Govee a lot but Hue is simply better.

Colors and everything are better in many reviews, professional and by your avg consumer. Getting what you pay for here it seems.

Have a few Hue products. 0 issues. Govee on the other hand...

I got tons of automation in my house and HUE is no longer part of it because I don't want to pay 4x the cost for a slightly better product.

Hue is not a value product line. Never has been. It's the Apple of smart bulbs and lighting—and that's a good thing. I want my lighting to be rock solid and just work. Hue has always done that over many many years now and I will continue to pay the premium. Maybe it's not worth the peace of mind and no frustration to everyone but it sure is to me.
