No go in Chicagoland. I went to 2 stores, both priced at 1999. Had someone check other stores using using their little handheld thing , and only one store was priced at 1649. Addison, but inventory showed zero

It's based on store availability and inventory. I went to chino hills and they had like 10 of them and it was 1,999. The manager told me it's based by local store and remaining number. So it's like claiming this is a deal, when the equivalent is you finding it for 1200 as an open box at Best Buy. This isn't a deal offered by them. The store price remains. It just means check your local store to see if they'll sell it for that.

Thanks, I was just about to go check CH Sam's after work. So I'm assuming the manager had no idea if they'll be going on sale in the future?

99% of Sams Club would've sold out on this when this was $1999 a few weeks back. Finding one in stock that's not display is highly YMMV.

Found one in my local store and the manager said that they can't sell the one that's mounted on the display by the LG vendor and it's been running contineously since last Nov on display.

Several stores in my area still have plenty of these in stock. Regardless of quantity on hand, price is still at $1999. I drove to two different stores, one had 6 or 7 left whereas the other store only had 1 left. Price at each store was still $1999. I also had sales associates scan them to confirm.

This is not true. $2200 is the current "regular" price. Sam's club clearanced these to $2000 at the beginning of May but they all sold out online that day. This has been the clearance price at Sam's Club since then but you have to be lucky to find it in stock at your local store.
