Creatine!!! It's 100% scientifically proven, and safe. It may not work for some users but try out different brands, it essentially gets the water in your body and makes your muscle hold it. This makes you stronger which helps you grow muscles

No but investigate creatine. It is incredibly well researched and shown to provide some real improvements for most people.

I'm almost 40. Been lifting routinely since Jan 1st this year because I'm turning into a blob. I feel good now 5 months later, only supplementing with whey protein post workout.

Do I need this? Halp.

If you're doing 2+ hour workouts, it may help keep you energized. But definitely not needed. I've been lifting ~10 years and BCAA is not known for its delicious flavor, and it's more a drop of water in a bucket if you're already receiving your proper nutrition

At this price though, it doesn't hurt to try.

I have this brand with "Syntha-6" version. I noticed it helped with avoiding muscle soreness the day after a workout. Tried it the day of for skiing/snowboarding, and it worked. So either this is better for recovery than that or you can just pick up that variant

There is no scientific proofs of benefits of separate BCAA intake compared to whole proteins. At least that's what AI says. If you struggle with diet balancing (protein intake), just add protein concentrate to your diet and that's it.

Nope, lol. It's basically just vitamins and artificial dyes/sweetener. Save your money...

Interestingly it also has sodium bicarbonate (aka baking soda) which does have some data suggesting improvement to certain kinds of performance. Not sure if it'll do anything at these doses and you could also just literally drink arm and hammer, too.

NO this is a marketing gimmick. If anything, creatine will make a small difference. Outside of that everything is marginal/placebo besides hard "gear". EAAS are the only amino acids that have a very small negligible effect. You're better off drinking gatoraid or equivalent

Everything I've seen about BCAA is purely antidotal, however I have been using as a post workout sports drink since beginning of the year. In my opinion I think they reduce soreness and speed up recovery time for me. Ever since I started taking them I felt like I've been able to bounce back from a hard workout much faster. Price wise it usually comes out to be much cheaper than buying sports drinks like Gatorade or Powerade and there's a lot of crossover with them so I figure as long as I like the taste why not.
