That should be QC Ultra. This is QC normal, $250 at Target.

Edit: not 45, just realized it was replaced with non numbering QC. Still $250 at Target though.

Looking for premium noise cancellation while outdoors more than music quality (having tinnitus ear issues). Will this suffice for that? How does this compare to Sony wx-1000 mx4?

Though they look similar, Bose QuietComfort and Bose QC45 are two different models.
The QuietComfort has more features that can be adjusted via the app.

Sorry, I confused myself. Just realized they discontinued 45 and renamed it without numbering with few more features. Still $249 at Target though, not $400.

These are better than the qc45s. These are the new QC. Specifically these are the QC SC but the SC just means soft case so the case is flimsier but the headphones are still QC. The main difference from qc45 and the older models is the bass. These ones are boomier and thats a good thing. Bass is a crucial part of music and these are better for music. For calls and stuff idk theyre probably the same. I never used qc45 for long term but did try them out and have used 35 and 25 personally and from what ive seen those were all almost the same. But the new QCs (these ones) are better sounding cuz of the bass. Also these are $250 on amazon, original price $350. I think the $30 difference is for the soft case vs the better case.

There is also the QC ultra which are same generation as these but i never used them. Seems like from rtings comparison that they sound very similar i.e. they both have the bass upgrade from the previous gens. Idk. I paid $220 for these from costco and couldnt be happier. I have audiophile headphones as well that I use for my own guitar playing and recording but honestly for just listening these are better because sure they dont sound as accurate but the bass rocks and you can wear these for HOURS with no fatigue. Airpods max imo sound better, those are the best sounding wireless/bluetooth headphones ive used but these are not far behind and the comfort is SOOO much better on these that id pick these in a heartbeat over airpods max. Oh and these are half the price so easy choice.

Had these for over a year. Love them. They did a software update on their app to disable the 2 connections which was driving me nuts (2 simultaneous connections although only 1 stream works at at time).

NFC pairing is all these are missing.

Looks like a decent deal. Mostly $250 other places. Plus Costco warranty. I'll try them. Thank you!

You should get Bose QC Ultra. I have the QC Ultra and my wife has the Sony MX5. Noise cancelling wise, Bose QC Ultra is much, much better.

But how do the QC Ultra compare to the regular QC, noise cancellation wise? QC Ultra seem to be on sale for $379 right now (not at Costco), which is $159 more than the regular QC, plus you won't get the amazing benefit of Costco's return policy. Is it worth that difference?

I did see that the QC Ultra went on sale for $269 last year in October, which is kind of making me want to wait as well, in case that sale ever comes back.

Decisions.
