As someone who has been following these Epic 'leaks' for a few years I have yet to see one that was wholly wrong. Sometimes they get the edition incorrect (like GOTY vs director vs normal) but the entire game, not that I recall. However you are right, It doesn't hurt to be skeptical...because it is all speculation until the game is revealed.

Now....Humble Bundle leaks are an entirely different animal. But I think Humble is purposely leaking the wrong info from time to time being the wrong games list / photo always is sourced from their website, like it was left for the dataminers to find.

I don't doubt it, but don't we have to provide a source when speculating on a deal (or in this case giveaway)? Neither of the links in the OP suggest the next Epic Games freebie will be this title. That said, I have been shown to have been very wrong about many things in recent weeks, so open to being wrong about yet another thing.

If OP had stated that the source was bilbil-kun on Dealabs [dealabs.com] (link is in French, use your browser's translate function if you want to read more) I wouldn't have needed to post as their track record is near perfect, but I guess some people don't like to give credit.

Umm, it's on the EPIC Games web page in plain English. So I'd say it's not a suggestion considering the source and pretty close to a sure bet ad you can get. In this day and age, I'm with you on being very wrong about a lot in the recent weeks!!
