This game is definitely worth free. If you already have an Amazon and an Epic account it seems weird to be suddenly worried about them just because they are linked. Amazon probably already knows your credit card, address, phone number, your preferred brand of lube, etc. Telling them you also play a lot of Fortnite and have a free copy of Yooka Laylee seems like worrying about a leak in the barn roof after all the cows escaped.

You are a pro but you have this backwards view, why do you think Amazon will take away your games? In the last 3+ years as an Amazon Prime member none of my "free" games have been taken away.

On Steam this game is 95% positive all-time and 98% recent.

I absolutely loved it. It's beautiful, the story is interesting, it's not too short but not too long. For the price of "free" I wish I could buy it again - in fact if this is somehow a game in Amazon rather than a code going to Epic I absolutely will.

Amazon will not take the game away later but you do give them access to your Epic analytic data so its not really a free game.
Amazon will make money on selling what they learn about your gaming habits. So no thanks

Because they have repeatedly and consistently enshittified all the Prime perks …music, storage, photos, video, etc. the only one they haven't corrupted yet is gaming, so I think I can assume that's next.

The m.o. is to make a two tiered service where the 'perk' is split into paid premium, and basically trash, for the Prime subscribers.
