had the 50% off medium roast Pikes Place today. tasted like burnt coffee. the after taste lingered for hours. not good. i can only imagine how bad the dark roast is. think i'll go with Stumptown local roast.

The same problem with Dark Roast Whole Bean Coffee - Caffe Verona, tasted like burnt coffee.
and Amz also delivered nearly expired product to me.

I went with Lavazza branch, smell and taste are better.

Some years back, I got into coffee, bought a mid priced espresso maker and this year, a nicer coffee bean grinder. I've tried a lot of different coffee beans from various regions of the world. That said, I have consistently not have good luck with Starbucks beans. Their dark roast are pretty much burnt beans. There are better coffee beans out there, perhaps a little bit more in cost that won't break your piggy bank.

OP, thank you for posting this deal.

I was not a fan, and I like dark roasts. Peet's Major Dickason at Costco is my favorite for quality and value.

Not French roast, but I love dark roasted coffees and
this is really good. Major Dickason is a bit better.
