Those are 1.5 cu. ft. bags making this deal a little bit cheaper but not by a lot so the smaller bags might be worth it for some.

Current Home Depot and Lowe's deals are 5 1.5 cubic feet bags for $10, so 7.5 cubic feet for $10.

This deal would be 8 cubic feet for $10, a slightly better deal if bag size isn't important.

1.5 cu ft vs 2 cu ft absolutely make a difference when carrying it around the yard.
I definitely dont want to put more strain on my already hurting back for saving 50 cents.

For people doing larger amounts of mulch I'd recommend looking at your local mulch yards. They typically are better quality, cheaper, and deliver (the savings on the mulch quickly overcomes the delivery fee).

Slickdeal for many. In my case, Home Depot is about 2 miles round trip and Tractor Supply is about 26. I'd spend more in gas then I'd save in price. Sad to say.

Has anyone used this before? How's the quality and does the color stay?

Used to be cheaper, but even that has sky rocketed around me. Cheap stuff 40 yard, 60 for cedar, delivery $50-90.

Oh, bag size is always important, my friend. Maybe not THE most important aspect, but it always ranks.

4 bags at 1.5 cubic feet is 6 cubic feet total VS 8 for 2 cubic feet bags.

Same here. $33/yd (black dyed same as OP) + $25 delivery is the best I have found locally. At that rate I'd still have to get 12+ yards worth before it starts to get cheaper for delivery.

I've used the brown color of this same mulch for the past 2 years. The color has held up pretty well, but more importantly the mulch itself has held up better than say, Lowe's "premium" brown mulch. Most of that resembles dirt more than mulch at the 2 year point.
