If you're using TorGuard VPN, the Mumbai server will not work (apparently Microsoft knows their IP addresses). You'll get the "purchased in a different region from your account" error. However, the Bangalore server works perfectly.
Some other VPNs may also have the same issue. The "purchased in a different region from your account" error typically means you should try connecting to a different city in India or try using a different VPN. It does not mean that you should change your XBox account's region from the US to India, this is never required.

Can anyone help me? I can't do anything to get this working. Things I've tried:
I didn't have any issues buying the keys but now I keep getting one of two error codes. Either "You currently have a subscription from a different region" or "This code can't be redeemed. It was purchased in a different region from your account".
