It is too large to hold in you hands, for browsing and for reading pdf. I have both. It's best for video. You should go to the store and try it.

I would actually buy a goo condition s7+ right now for $250 i need a new picture frame. that can do video calls. Yeah keyboard has no value.

i think this is the equivalent ipad pro the ios devices usually hold value much more. Also ipad 3rd gen still getting updates and will most likely get the next one too.

I am not talking about s7. I am talking about 12 inch s7+ which 3-4 years ago was trying to compete against the lower end 12 inch ipad pros. Those 3-4 year old 12 inch iPad pros still go for around 500-700.

I am not talking about a regular keyboard. But the Samsung Book Cover keyboard/touchpad combo case which attaches to the tablet magnetically. The Samsung equivalent to the Magic Keyboard. It works well with the Dex mode(desktop mode) in case you intend to use the tablet for productivity. Those still go for around $60-70 on eBay.

Unless something has changed, Samsung doesn't take and process the trade-in. You're shipping it to another company.

The top thing I use my S7FE for is the included "Write On PDF" app, which lets you load up any PDF and use the pen to write on it, just like if you had a physical piece of paper and and physical pen. Simple. Don't need form fields or whatever, just write on it and save it to a PDF that is viewable with the markup on other apps.

This seems like it isn't being updated by Samsung anymore (last update 2018). Is this app still included on the newer tablets like S9? Or is there a replacement for it?

I have the s8 ultra model and tried to do this deal for the upgrade. Since only the 1tb version is available, it's not worth the upgrade to that model. I could have maybe considered a s9+ but also oos. I'll keep watching to see if it comes back on.

went with s7+ to s9+ for $295 with EPP. My s7+ seems to be developing charging port issue to better to upgrade now and also get more updates on latest tablet etc. Also earned some cb so not a bad deal, but $300 still to much for incremental updates to s9+

After almost 2 years of almost daily use I can tell my battery on my S8U is not as good as when I first got it, also my 128GB model is close to full. A fresh battery and 256GB of storage is worth the extra $150 IMO, the water resistance and adaptive 120hz display and everything else are nice to haves but not worth it by themselves. But the point is moot since it's been OOS since I've seen this deal.
