I use the 5000 in my home office, added the SA-SW5 subwoofer and SA-RS3 rear speakers… good little setup for my 10x14' office space

Try find them on Facebook

Sound bar price is lower in used market

Also Best Buy sells rear speakers in deep discount

Sonos are over priced imo

I recently purchased the Samsung q990c. It replaced a much older Yamaha soundbar. The q990c just seems loud for loud's sake. Wife immediately complained that dialogue tends to get drowned out during many action scenes in movies. There's a million different threads on Reddit about how to "set this or set that" with the q990c.

I'm curious your thoughts on the Sony, do you use the dialogue enhancement feature? If so do you feel like you can watch a show and not have it blow up your eardrums while still being able ot hear dialogue properly?

Sony TVs will integrate all the soundbar settings into main TV UI, so no need to use second remote to adjust anything (surround mode, rear volume, sub volume, voice enhancement, night mode), and the bar has an "S Link" output allowing Bravia TVs to utilize the TV's speakers as a center channel, which moves dialog to the screen. I'm sure the Sony systems still sound great on other brand TVs, just won't get the center channel out of TV, and will have to use the supplied remote to access any adjustments other than power/volume which are done via CEC with TV remote

Thanks that was very clear explanation. I only plan to use the bar and sub. So think I can live with an extra remote when really needed.
