How about a button to exclude expired listings when searching for a deal by a keyword?

It looks like you may using the Classic version of Slickdeals. If that's true, then on the search page you can uncheck the "Deal Talk" forum on the left side to remove most of the expired deals.
If you use the Redesign version of Slickdeals, then on the search page there is a box that says Show Expired Deals, you can uncheck that to remove them from search results.

If you are in Classic and would like to switch to Redesign to check that version of the search page out, you can do so by scrolling down on this page and clicking Redesign View near the bottom left corner.
If you'd like to switch from Redesign back to Classic, you can do so by scrolling down on this page and clicking Classic in the bottom right corner.

Yep, classic. Good point about unchecking Deal Talk. I'll check to see if that can be a default. By memory, without looking right now, it seems that I would have to do that every time.

I like Classic better because I am able to see more at-a-glance than the Redesign. I would imagine that most people that frequent the site are proficient at sorting data quickly. IMO, the Redesign has to much fluff , and slows people down.

Or, I may be incorrect , and I am doing it wrong. Thanks again
