The mayo cartel is responsible for this shrinkflation, Hellman's (owned by Unilever, the British Dutch conglomerate), the head of the cartel, did it first in 2006 and the rest followed. If you don't make it yourself, that's all there is. There still are standard measures of 48, 64, and 128 oz jars, but the regular size, for now, is 30 oz. It won't shock me if they go to 28 at some point. It's happened to boxed and canned foods.

If it only was real mayo, instead your eating soy bean oil. Look at ingredients.

Not worth the hassle. Just did several oreders of canned and Bottles through Amazon. All most every single order damaged. I mean they broke the handle on a cast iron pan.
Just not worth when have to return half the stuff or when the mayo leaks and gets all over other stuff and sits in the sun till I get home. Just not worth it to save a few bucks.

We don't use a lot of mayo and we recently switched to Lidl store brand. It's perfectly acceptable compared to the original and it's on sale for $1.99 this week.

Or, order it in the Winter time and it freezes causing all the main ingredients to separate. I ordered Lindt's chocolate truffles a couple weeks ago and I was utterly shocked Amazon paid some 3rd party to ship it in an insulated box with a freezer pack.
