If you are just seeking volume of balls/$ that's great. But the Tour balls are MUCH MUCH better balls. Urethane cover makes a big difference on the ability to spin the ball and hold greens from 100 yards in. And those Soltfli's are VERY soft. They may feel nice but distance wise they will be a very short ball.
I have not found that at all. In my experience they've been very durable.
Yeah my first round with 2 of them first bunker shot it cut when I thinned it out and I cut one on a flop shot and clipped it good on that one , then I pinched it really nice on another full wedge shot and a baby groove cut 🤷🏻 ♂️ I ended up
Playing with 2 extras but that's ok I didn't lose any balls lol. I'm going to play today and I'll come back and let you know if it was a fluke with a different box
Can anyone recommend the better one to get between the tour and tour x version?
I'm about 95-100mph swing speed with driver. Looking for more stopping power on approach shots.
The x has higher trajectory, a bit more spin, and slightly more distance due to the compression. The tour has a lower trajectory and is softer.
Both have really good spin though. I prefer the x but if I were playing in a windy area and needing a lower ball flight, and wanted a softer feel, I'd probably game the tour. The x really noticeably comes off higher and is firmer (but not a rock).
If you google "my golf spy maxfli ball test" you'll get good data on these.
I use the x and have for about a year and a half.
The Kirkland ball spins an absurd amount and is MUCH shorter distance-wise. Any sidespin on Kirkland balls is punished. It's a night-and-day difference between Kirkland and the Maxfli tour series— Maxfli being clearly the superior ball.

The newest Kirkland balls are not good. These would be a much better purchase
