You can get silica packets or rechargeable dehumidifier. Works great for your guns & ammo.. and documents =)

Does your house have really high humidity? You could probably put in some desiccant packs in there too and that would stop it.

Great safe. Just remember to remove the film from the fingerprint sensor. I thought it sucked then realized the plastic was distorting my fingerprints.

Will documents get moldy in this?


My passport was covered in moldy after being in my previous fire safe. I love the idea of fire protection but have gone back to storing the passport in a file cabinet.

I don't understand how you can blame that on the safe? Mold would be caused by the environment the safe was located in or what you stored in it.
