Good variety but not a lot of seed per packet
Reviewed in the United States on May 17, 2023
Small number of seeds in packets. Example, the yellow wax beans there were 14 seeds, two of which were broken. The zucchini only had 6 seeds. Butternut squash had 14 seeds, one of which was undeveloped and another that was broken. 4 pumpkin seeds. 5 yellow squash 1 of which were broken. The small seeds do have better counts, but anything with a larger size seed either don't have enough to even pollinate each other or to make a meal of when ready to harvest

Well, where I live the public library hosts it. They take donations of seeds too.I think the idea is you take the seeds and grow stuff and then bring back new seeds from your harvest. like a library book, you just borrow the (genetic) information for a lil while.

For free? Why would they do that?

Sometime late last year something like this was posted, but with 35 seed packets. Put a couple in my garden a couple weeks back, maybe a week, I haven't had a lot of days off recently. But hopefully they grow and produce!

The only thing to consider is if you are talking long term storage you need to keep them cool and dry. The mylar bag and whatever that stuff is to keep the oxygen levels down....for the preppers (not peppers) free is awesome but store properly.

Anyone who thinks 4 pumpkin or 5 yellow squash plants are not enough for "a meal" when harvested has never grown any of the above. A well cared for summer squash plant will produce a squash every other day through the summer. Additionally these plants are able to self pollinate with a single plant.
