Nothing for lapsed PS+ subscribers. I will remain lapsed.
Mine lapsed in January and I can take advantage of the discount. I logged into Playstation.com online, went to Essential and the offer was there for $63

For those that have received their Netflix credit, has anyone been able to pick a less expensive plan? Ie can you select the $15/month plan? And does the credit have an expiry date? Thanks!

If only I could get a year of Netflix when the PS5 Pro comes out. It would be a nice bonus.

After joining the PS Plus in the morning of the first day when this sale started, I ordered the PS5 console about 20 minutes later. I haven't received the Netflix email. Anyone in the same boat?
Yup after being in chat for hours I was told my PS Plus wasnt active at the time of buying my PS5 which is complete horse shit. I had a membership in the past and I purchased it and signed in to see how it looked. Then I bought the PS5 in a totally separate transaction. Seems as if they are trying to sidestep this somehow.

Signed up for PS Essential on Thursday, 2 mins later ordered a PS5 Disc, and received shipping confirmation on Friday and Netflix offer on Monday at noon.
I have the Paramount+ with Showtime and Netflix BOGO offer from Verizon +play from late last year.
Netflix website gave me an error saying I can't add this Sony offer to my account.

For anyone on the fence about PS VR2, they just (officially) announced support for SteamVR starting August 7th with a $60 adapter. https://blog.playstation.com/2024...-august-7/

Also mentioned previously, Premium is also 30% off, which will give access to 6 'free' games that come along next month. https://www.roadtovr.com/psvr-day...ames-2024/

So it's $100 off + Netflix for a year + 30% off PS Plus Premium + 6 'free' VR games, and can reuse the hardware on your PC. Not bad.

I got screwed on the netflix code as well. Worst customer support experience of my life. Deliberately unhelpful.

Dang! That really sucks and makes me hesitate to pull the trigger.
I "subscribed" for one month last week… Thinking that I'd let the thing sit for a couple days to allow their systems time to update…
Sounds like as a collective group we're at ~50% success rate with this. Sounds like a gamble that I'll have to take eventually.

Or just return the PS5 for free!

That's wild! I haven't pulled the trigger yet, and I have been an active PS Plus member for years, but, if I was someone in this boat, I would pull the free games of the month BEFORE buying the ps5. I feel like that's pretty good proof that you have ps plus.

I did that. Didn't make a difference. You can have all the proof in the world PS support is non existent.
