Info/Tip: I logged into my Netflix account BEFORE clicking the link in the email, so when I clicked it, my account was already up and running in that browser, so it just went straight to asking me to confirm adding the $275.88 credit to my account. No issues, and I can see the credit represented in my Netflix account in the Account Home screen now.
I did like it otherwise though I'm still a little torn after shipping it back today. For $200 after Netflix credit it's not bad at all. VR is still pretty new and there are some limitations but the tech is promising and fun at the current gen. I might even buy it again on the future
I have the Paramount+ with Showtime and Netflix BOGO offer from Verizon +play from late last year.
Netflix website gave me an error saying I can't add this Sony offer to my account.
I cancelled the Verizon line after the +play offer and since the cancellation my verizon account isn't letting me view or manage it.
One possible solution Netflix support recommended is I move the Verizon billing to a different account for a day, redeem the Sony offer on my primary account and then move back Verizon billing. Don't know if it'll work.

I already was already subscribed and grandfathered into the Netflix Basic subscription ($11.99/month). When I applied the promo credit I was able to keep my basic plan and was not forced to upgrade my plan to standard, premium, etc.
IMPORTANT: Both the PSN website AND PlayStation Direct website use your PSN account to login. YOU MUST LOGIN to with your PSN account on the PlayStation Direct website (where you actually purchase the console) BEFORE you purchase the PS5 or VR headset. If you do not login to the PlayStation Direct website with your PSN account, you WILL NOT receive the Netflix promo. You will basically be checking out as a guest. There is no prompt for you to login if you have an "existing account." Be careful!
