Sugar free is probably worse for you than with sugar. To those who don't know there's just chemicals and nonsense in place of the sugar. Your better off just getting the one with natural sugar in it

🤣 thanks

The only reason I'm saying it is that I know a group of people who think that sugar free gum is "healthier" and they swear by it

There's actual evidence that excess sugar is bad for health and teeth. There's no reliable evidence that the "chemicals and nonsense" are significantly unhealthy. If you have the studies I'd love to see it. In the meantime stop spewing ignorance.

No i mean it in the same way how Diet Coke can be worse for you than normal Coke

There's not super super hard evidence, but it's definitely clear that if you for example drink a lot of coke and chew a lot of gum with aspartame in it, it's not good for you, making it on par or worse than sugar.

Again, effects are probably negligible, but I do know that gum is one of those things people have a lot of during work and stuff

I don't even think you read or comprehended the articles you linked, lol. They're basically surface level fluff pieces vaguely referencing science. All the first one has to say on sugar alcohols (the artificial sweetener used here) is that they can be beneficial to gut health.

The worst thing mentioned is sugar substitutes might be almost as bad as real sugar, lol. Wonderful sources.
