good stuff. I recommend the oil one that comes in a syringe-like dispenser. Gets into door locks and hinges much easier

Plumbers grease isn't dielectric or food grade.

You can use this around electronics and it won't cause shorts.

For instance, if you have a game controller where the analog sticks are starting to drift, you can hit them with contact cleaner and then pack them with this.

Great for use on Swimming Pool Equipment, for O-ring and gasket lube. Much cheaper than getting specialty swimming pool branded products, and a tube of this lasts forever.

Is this the one that leaves behind residue that they say not to use on 3d printers?

I use food-grade silicon lube for my pool equipment like filter o-rings, etc. If you use a lot of this the 14.1oz is on sale on Amazon for $16.35 S+S.
