I can't see any reason to spend this much on something that can very well become paperweight after about a year of usage. Which is a shame. I would've liked to have gotten a "Slickdeal".
Geez y'all... Can we talk about the bike instead?
So I bought two of the Austin for $519 for my kids back then. I'm thinking of getting this for myself. They've put over 200 miles on it since and no issues (got 2 flats but thats on my kids).
This one is couple hundred more..but it does have 750w motor/52V 13AH battery vs. 500w/48V 14AH battery on the Austin.
All else seems to be similar--20x3 fat tire, mechanical brakes (ugh), top speed, weight, etc.
Not sure if its worth the $200 if I'm only getting the bigger motor. If they had upgraded the brakes to hydraulics, then maybe its a consideration. But I'll hold off until a better deal comes around...

Was going to ask about parts availability after purchase to keep the bike going long-term, but then I realized they don't support us "big boned" people.. max weight 264 lb
Yea I didn't hear about this till now but have been waiting for buying an e-Bike ideally foldable. Makes it a good proposition to buy one now rather than wait till later
I am intrigued though. Haven't seen much discussion on the ebike itself but is it a good deal compared to the $520 Austin eBike? I missed out on that one but really hoping to get something similar
68 lbs foldable bike, why even make it foldable, that is a lot of weight to handle even in a smaller form factor. I would suggest getting a non-fat tire e-bike instead, saves in overall weight and longer range due to better rolling efficiency.

Link please....that would be very helpful. Thanks in advance!
