Great price for a 4090 laptop.

Feel like that much power in a laptop is a bit much and worried about how much heat it'd create. But if you're interested in a 4090 laptop I'd jump on this. Glad basic 4060 suits my needs nowadays.

Will it start your crotch on fire if it's sitting on your lap? Yes.

But also, the game will look so good that you won't even notice.

Ive had this laptop for a year. I still love it. Its fast and works great. I put my own 64GB of RAM and additional 4gb SSD. My son can play Steam VR while I watch videos and surf the web at the same time with no stutter.
I highly suggest the TRACER VII LIQUID COOLING KIT($149). It cools it down pretty good. There is also hacks online to make the cooling tank way more efficient.
There's not many laptops out there like this to quick & easily add liquid cooling to.

The selected notebook can't be shipped to CA/CO/HI/OR/VT/WA due to the energy regulations adopted by these states

I'm so glad Newsom flew to the Vatican to help fight climate change. I'm sure he and the Pope had an amazing conversation that couldn't take place over the phone so the amount of dino juice required for him to fly around to the other side of the world was well worth the carbon emissions that he so desperately wants to reduce.

Two months ago B&H had the HP Omen17 with i9-13900hX & 4090 GPU. It had 32GB 5600 speed RAM and 2TB ssd for 2199. So the price for this kind of configuration is about the same.

I get that he's a pretentious bought-and-paid-for-politician like the rest. And, although he doesn't stoop to pander to the lowest common denominator so well as "Meatball Ron," he's still playing optics with the people while making his corporate lobbyists plenty happy. But AFAIK he's only the governor of CA, and has no jurisdiction over CO/HI/OR/VT/WA. The Dems seem to have him in the warmup circle in case their anointed candidate gets any worse.

Also, most likely it's the legislatures that voted into law whatever is hindering direct shipments to these states.

Given that we are slowly accommodating to an impending global collapse it's doubtful that using this vs. a different laptop or no laptop at all is going to change that. Though mass actions such as driving a truck/SUV and not using the space regularly is certainly speeding our demise. Building and shipping one bomb across the planet probably wastes more energy than all the 4090s in existence.
