This nail rocker is designed to pull and pry nails. For removing difficult nails the flat striking face allows the claw to be driven under the nail. Nail digger exposes the head of a flush nail so it can be pulled with minimal damage to the wood.

People need to understand this isn't just a vertically oriented cat's paw. It pinches the shaft of the nail, and you can pull a nail out with very little room around the sides as well. Further, if the nail head is gone, it makes no difference with this tool.
Nobody is saying never use a hammer claw or cat's paw again for as long as you live. But this is a good, fast "general purpose" puller with some unique capabilities of its own.
Got my pick up notification… the wife is out with the girls … I'll sneak in… . check out the other deals…. then have the counter girl sniff if it stinks …then decide to keep or not… while paying for the other deals…. sneak back home …stuff the stuff … then pretend I've been napping all day….

The "rocker" end seems really pointless. If a nail is protruding far enough to fit the rocker, I am using the claws of a hammer. The cats paw end seems fine, but you can buy that for $5 all day long.
Wouldn't waste my time with this. If you get one of these get one with a dimpler.
agree, dimpler is a feature you will use often if you're having to remove nails. unless you already have this on another tool, I'd say it's a must-have for time-saving.
the rocker part seems kind of pointless unless you have a limited clearance area. as long as you get the nail out a bit, you can pull.

I picked up when the initial post was made weeks ago. Decent tool for 5$ for removing soft nails (pneumatic) that the head tends to break off or bend when using a claw to remove. This tool pulls the nail/ pin by pinching the stem and leveraging it out. About 5/16 of the nail/ pin needs to be exposed to get the swing rocker onto it. I found that many nails were requiring slip joint pliers to remove because of the limited exposed length. However, for 5$, it is definitely worth picking up to have on hand; if you're already at the store. When Husky makes a second, improved, version of this; the lifetime warranty will be used.

I bought this Husky last go around when it was posted for $5 (has been ever since). As an avid tool connoisseur I can confidently say PASS on this "deal." If you need to remove nails, use a straight framing hammer or a flat pry bar. If the nail head snaps, get some curved vice grips to pull the headless fastener. This tool tries to be a pry bar AND a cat's paw. Honestly, it's not very good at being either.
If you ignore my sage advice and buy this tool anyways, please note that it's typical Chinese QC and *thoroughly* inspect the rocker rivet for symmetry. Most rivets at my HD looked unacceptably rough.

... although the last time it was posted not many stores around here had any in stock - now they do.
Not an impulse/go out of my way buy for me, but would pick it up next time I'm at Lowe's and they still have stock.
