Pretty much anything can be "collectable"; it's mostly about some sort of emotional attachment to the subject matter. As a lover of comics/science fiction/horror who was 12 when Star Wars came out (it wasn't "Episode IV" back then, lol), there weren't a lot of products available to play with or collect outside of the more mainstream characters of the time. Sure, you could get Batman, Spider-Man, Superman or Universal Monsters items, but there just WEREN'T toys of Werewolf By Night, Man-Thing, Ghost Rider, Moon Knight, etc. You can get almost ANY character as a Funko Pop now. I own more than twenty, including the four I mentioned, as well as a number from the Mad Max universe, various horror and other movie franchises, Super Saiyan Trunks, Battle Angel, DC Comics' Lobo, Evil Dead's Ash and many others. I really want the Soundgarden Badmotorfinger set, and I noticed they came out with The Crow, but I just can't right now. My teen daughters have over a hundred combined, mostly anime, music, and TV shows like Stranger Things and South Park.

I feel that some of the reasons that Funko Pops are so popular is that they are compact enough that you can display a bunch of them in a relatively small area, and they are at a price point which can be considered pretty reasonable by many. I've gotten many of mine on sale for as little as $3, and I've been pleasantly surprised to find a few at Five Below, such as a Blacklight Michael Myers, Beetlejuice, and Iron Maiden's Eddie (the Somewhere In Time version, only because it reminds me of Deathlok).

As far as collectible value, from a monetary perspective, just like almost anything of this sort that rises in cost, it's a supply versus demand issue.

I hope my too-long post has given some insight, at least from one collector's perspective

I'm in for one because the modular same sized boxes look much nicer & neater than shoes strewn on a shelf.

Also, it is the lowest price I've seen for this product.

Just a heads up that the $10 can be used for additional orders (applied once per order). However code AA8MC926 is a 1 time use code

I ordered a 2nd one for $30. Not as good as the first order but still 25% off sale price.

Now to figure out if I can use these to display Funko Pops lol

You are the first person I've ever encountered that has actually bought a Funko Pop. I always see those things in the clearance aisle, and I mutter to myself "why would anyone buy this?"
I have like 50 funko pops! They have increased a lot in price over the years though. Started out like at 5-6 dollars, now theyre like 10-12+

The reviews make me think quality control has tanked on these.

For the record, I wasn't really trying to poke fun, I just don't understand why people find them collectable.
