I have the Irwin Vice-Grip version of these (same basic design). I use them frequently. It does take a little bit to get used to. Biggest tip is to be confident and don't squeeze the handle slowly. If you go slow, it doesn't work as well and slips.

Works for me, the page at the link above says, "See low price on cart". When I add it to the cart, the price is 15.73.

Update: looks like in Michigan the price is $21.97 but when punching in other zips for pickup or shipping the price drops to 15.73
