May I ask why? Even the Ryzen being so much more efficient, Intel is faster (Single and Multi) and even has more cores. With the advantage of having 1TB SSD vs 512GB and 1 slot dimm of 16GB, having the possibility of adding another RAM versus the AMD that comes with 2x8GB and need to change both.

That Model has Core i7-13650HX having 6 P Cores and 8 E Cores, same as a normal Core i7-13700H and that is hardly any faster than Ryzen 7 7840HS while being extremely power hungry. And higher core count does not always mean better Multi-threaded performance, because of the Core architecture being used. That Intel Processor has 8 E Cores among total 14 Cores, nearly 60% of it.
Here is a comprehensive comparsion between those two: https://www.notebookcheck.net/i7-...596.0.html

Now, coming to the $50 extra point, you can literally buy a budget Gen4 SSD at $60 and add that to the AMD Model, getting total 1.5TB of SSD. $50 extra for 512GB to 1TB upgrade is actually not that great.

might get this... $745 with that 10% coupon (just used a random email since my main email already claimed one in the past)

the 2 open ram slots and 2 nvme slots is huge... don't rly care about the weight of the laptop or the brick.. even knowing it's basically 10lbs total.

one thing I hope i can do is turn off the dedicated gpu and use the igpu for when i'm not gaming to extend battery.. not sure if this is possible on this laptop..
