2-year warranty is very good for an open-box item. Usually, those come with less warranty.
If you can afford to, try buying a 4070 Super instead. Much better, and you can get a brand-new one for $550–$600.
This is a pass. Even the 4070s goes on sale for under $600 pretty frequently. The regular 4070 should basically be $500 or less at all times for it to make sense.

While I agree on the recommended pricing for the 4070 it's still not a bad deal. Basically 10% less performance for like 17% less price if you want to run the numbers. I feel I over payed for my 4070 ti super in comparison as far as what I do but that's just me.

Yeah still not really that great at this price.
Especially considering that you get similar performance from a 3080 10GB and they can be found used for around $350 or less. Maybe even around $300 if it one of those oem dell or hp model cards.
If you don't care about ray tracing, at around $500 you can get the RX 7900 GRE which is around 20-25% faster than a 4070 sans ray tracing.

I don't recommend buying from Zotac store. I bought an open box from them before it was clearly used and the card had a terrible cooling issue. In order to get a refund I had to fight through a standard RMA process, ship at my own expense, and provide evidence. Eventually they tested the card and confirmed the issue so I got my refund, but it was not fun and the whole time their responses sounded like it wasn't guaranteed I would get my refund or have to pay a restocking fee.

100% Agree. Other than power draw just buy a used 3080. I bought a used ASUS TUF 3080 Ti 12Gb for $325. Undervolted it and it is able to play most of my games at 4K.and stay under 300 watts at full tilt. I really wanted a 4070 Super but could not justify the price for a card with 12GB and and 192-bit memory bus. It's been said countless times, Nvidia 40 series cards are nothing more than a side grade money grab.
