We bought a refurb UV540 a few years ago for $60 (in like-new condition). We've had Hoovers and Eurekas that cost up to $400 (in decade-or-more old money). My expectations weren't high. It has turned out to be the best vac we've ever had. It's not a light-weight vacuum, though, but it maneuvers pretty easily.

Was just about to say this. I also paid around $50 or $60 almost a decade ago and it's the best vacuum I've ever had. Build quality just seems much better on these up right shark vacuums. We had a really old handheld shark vacuum that used nimh batteries almost 20 years ago and that thing refused to die for the longest time. It definitely no longer hold as long of a charge but come in handy.

Are these hand vacs enough to supplement a robovac? I have 70% hard floors. I got a eufy rechargeable hand vac but it was basically worthless for $70 because the filter was a thimble
