They do have a free tier however, though I do not know if this promotion applies to the free account. Best way to get GFN on the cheap is to get a promotion from purchasing tech from them, or a partner.
I personally got their Ultimate tier free for a year as a reward included with a Chromebook I bought.
Cheers,

Also, Xcloud (xbox cloud gaming) which requires the highest tier game pass runs via a browser as well.
Cheers,
Yep, did it again, this was really meant for you. my bad.
Cheers,
I played around a little bit before with GFN (free tier) + GP just checking lag and what hardware you get. I was able to get a 2080 sometimes but other times a 1060 or 1080 (I think). I'm not sure if changing streaming preferences affected your chances of getting better hardware (location, quality, game) but it seem to bounce between hardware tiers a lot. The queue was too long and it looked like you had to wait it out every time you changed a streaming setting.
I wouldn't mind trying out Hellblade II or Lords of the Fallen...but only if I can get a 2080 and it'd have to be during off-peak hours to offset the 1 hour kick plus queue time. Still Wakes the Deep is the next game that works with both.
