If you do a search here, you'll see it goes for this price regularly. This model is 3 years old now, I wouldn't recommend it unless it goes on firesale

Thanks. I did search before posting. When they said $399 was new "normal price", I thought I was searching "wrong". Lol. And I realize this is a current, yet aging model, but the new one will likely be more than I want to spend on what will essentially be a video/movie watching device.
