The air blower and the multi-swap tool (weed whacker, edger) use m18 and those are great.
I got the single-function string trimmer basically right before they released the one with different heads. I'd really like the pole saw + hedge trimmer, but don't want to fork out $300+ for a whole new set.

I'd wait for a sale, that's what I do with all my tools. That said I opted for the kit with the edger, string trimmer, and pole saw attachments. Instead of the hedge trimmer, some reviews said the extra length with the hedge trimmer attachment made it unwieldy. So I have the stand alone hedge trimmer and that works great.

Of course.. problem is, it never comes with the exact attachments I want - there's always an edger or brush cutter or blower I don't need.
Reason I want the hedge trimmer is because I've got an exceedingly large bush that's difficult to get the top of, even with a ladder it requires some fairly sketchy stretching action.
I have an ancient Skil jig saw with auto-scroll head. I just love this feature. Was thinking to go cordless, but I see that feature isn't on this one. In fact, it's not really on any cordless jig saw. Is this a deprecated feature that only amateurs liked, and not found on modern serious tools?
