This win for games. Because
- have anal sticks opening up no compromise controls for N64 . Dreamcast. Psx with dual shock. And psp
- the. layout. You can play TATE. Games holding it verticaly and use the analog stick and buttons
$38 is an insane good price.
The sp is good too if you are willing to forgo analog stick games and tate games.
They are both good, with pros and cons. You can't go wrong with either. If you like horizontal then the Anbernic gets the win, if you like vertical then I'd go with the Miyoo or the RG35XX plus.

Bought this a few weeks back and it's honestly very easy to use with the stock software. If you're just giving it to your kid, just giving it to him as-is may be a good option.

I have both as well and I prefer the 35xx H. It feels too cramped and unnatural holding a vertical system like the Miyoo Mini Plus for extended session.
As far as the high failure rate card it comes with (at least that's what others are saying)... I can just copy the files over to a better quality card and substitute the card it comes with?
