I'm so sad, this is the deal I need. It's also 1000 miles away.

This or the 12900k bundle for a high school freshman? I'm thinking if I go with the AMD bundle, we could upgrade it right before he goes to college. With the Intel bundle, 4 years from now, we'll only be able to upgrade to 14900-14700.

It will be used for games and Fusion 360, Blender, DaVinci Resolve (video editing)

I would go AMD if you are looking to upgrade at this point. the AM5 socket is new, it'll be around for quite a long time.

These Microcenter deals should be banned Stick Out Tongue
People are not true slickdealers if they don't move to be close to a microcenter.

Step up.

if you've recently bought this bundle, to get a price match make sure to add the bundle to your cart and move to checkout to get the prices of each component. microcenter has some stupid policy of needing the exact values to get a price match and it's probably helpful to archive the webpage too

Store specific deals are better than the YMMV snipe hunts

9000 series is supposed to be released in July so I would hold off to see if they have a better deal at that time. This was the same price I paid last year in April.

What graphics card would anyone recommend for this build with a budget of $300-330?

how does that compare to the 78000x3d bundle for 479?

I think they said AM5 is sticking around until 2027+ now? So these boards still has cpu upgrades options for a 3 more years if you so choose to

6700xt/6750xt. If you can ~$400 then 6800. No midrange or lower tier RTX card would meet slickdeals criteria.

Never expect the word cruel can be linked with a deal but this is a perfect example.
So sad.
