Thanks!
I bought a refurbished grade a watch 6 gps a couple years ago from VIP Outlet. Looked brand new and came in a new box. Battery health was 100% according to battery settings. Thinking of jumping on this 8 as a replacement. I think I paid $150 for the 6 and $240 seems right for this model (stainless and cellular). My 6 still has all day battery and looks good except for a few scratches. That and expectations for the watch 10/X have me unsure. I probably won't buy a 10 at full price when it releases and I would be looking at the standard/aluminum model so I'm leaning towards this especially with stainless.
EDIT: This note on the Woot gives me pause: "These items have been inspected and guaranteed to have minimal cosmetic damage, which is not noticeable when the device is held at arm's length & have successfully passed a full diagnostic test which ensures like-new functionality & removal of any prior-user's personal information. Batteries are tested to function at minimum 85% capacity."
I'm concerned this may not appear "new". The battery also concerns me some. I'm still considering rolling the dice on one to see if I get a "like new" one and paying return shipping if not. The stainless case, sapphire crystal, and ceramic back are appealing for the price.
LAST EDIT: I'm skipping this. This woot forum thread for grade a Series 7 doesn't sound great.

I got a Stainless steel one that had been to hell and back, with 71% battery health
Sure you can return it, but it's an unnecessary faff.

Only buy used Apple Watch Stainless Steel models in silver.
The other two colors (Graphite and gold, well... 3 including Hermes Black) are coated with a PVD coating that contains the color. The silver does not. This coating protects the stainless steel against tiny abrasions but then loses the very best thing about the uncoated metal:
You can polish the silver model, just like a luxury watch. With the others, you get a scratch and it is there forever. With the silver model, you can remove scratches as you can polish down the metal.
I use Cape Cod brand wipes on my S7 Hermes. With a little elbow grease, it looks brand new out of the box. I actually bought it 'refubished-good' condition from Ebay (Read - B grade), and bought it from a mess to like new.
Combined with the sapphire glass on these, it makes it by far the most durable Apple watch. (as no scratch to the body can't be removed, generally speaking)

May be things to think about
A year warranty on a used product that's been out for nearly 2 years doesn't seem adequate
Thanks!
excellent refurbished if u want to look at it https://www.ebay.com/itm/16582044...&med
My recommendation is buy from ebay as you get a 1 year allstate warranty for refurb
